Fitness Meets Wellness Presents: “7 BEST”
Start the new year strong with 7 BEST, a new Fitness Meets Wellness (FMW) strength program launching in January.
This class is built around what I’ve found to be the seven best exercises for building strength, muscular endurance, and tone.
These are well-known, effective movements—but with a twist.
By taking traditional single-joint exercises and compounding them (adding an additional movement or joint action), we increase intensity and effectiveness without making the workout boring.
Example: a bicep curl combined with an overhead press—or paired with a squat—to challenge multiple muscle groups at once.
This 45-minute class is designed to:
Build full-body strength and endurance
Increase calorie burn
Improve muscle tone
Keep things interesting with short intervals of light cardio for legs and core
End with a relaxing mind–body stretch to leave you feeling refreshed
